Kyle Sandilands has revealed that he turned down a seven-figure offer to take part in the upcoming season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here.

“They offered me one million dollars and the ability to smoke whenever I wanted but I’d have to be hidden,” the shock jock told his co-host Jackie O.

He continued: “I said, ‘Warnie got two [million]’ and they were like, ‘Well that’s Warnie,” he detailed. “I said, ‘Well forget about it then.”

Kyle admitted the reason he said no to the gig was because they wouldn’t be him as much as Shane Warne recieved. He added that he’d already signed a deal to appear as a judge on rival network for Australian Idol, “they would have had an issue with it as well,” he said.

During the segment, the hosts called up Woody from the national Will and Woody radio show, who is the first and only contestant that’s been revealed from the upcoming season. After Kyle revealed the amount he was offered to Woody, Jackie O asked how much he was getting for his time in the jungle.

After Woody hesitated to answer, Jackie O asked him if the amount was “somewhere between $80,000 and $150,000” and he confirmed it was.

While Woody is the only cast member that has been revealed, as of now, Network 10 has been dropping a number of clues about who else will join the cast.
