Cinematic alt-folk group, Lazy Colts have today announced the release of their brooding new single, following it up with an east coast tour.
The new single,‘Twenty Two’, comes in support of the group’s full length LP Trojan. The record has been two years in the making, and was recorded partially in an empty church. Of the single, frontman Lacey Cole remarks: “Essentially, ‘Twenty Two’ is about the grand ‘undying’ sentiments that hallmark your first cracks at a serious relationship. It’s about perspective, initially, the lack of it, and then the revelation that the reason you’re in your situation – however great or bad it is – is also the reason you will get through it: you’re only 22 years old.”
They’ll play The Oxford Circus on Sunday August 28. Tickets via Moshtix.
