Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner have teamed up again for a new HBO eight-part series named Camping.

The show will star Jennifer Garner, and considering this is Dunham and Konner’s first creative pursuit since Girls wrapped last year — and Garner’s first TV role since leaving Alais in 2006 — expectations are high.

The series is based on the UK show of the same name, created by Julia Davis, who will executive produce the series.

Dunham and Konner describe Garner’s character as “messy, tough and provocative and really really fun.

“We love Jennifer’s restraint and comedic timing, and we can’t wait for the warmth and intelligence she’ll bring to our central character, Kathryn. It’s truly a dream to have her first on our call sheet. Now we just have to write her some stunts.”

The program is expected to debut in 2019.
