Yesterday a New York Times writer tweeted about the Oscars needing a better host than in recent years. While I used to have no opinion on this matter was pretty minimal, an email he received in response has really changed that. The email simply suggests Lindsay Lohan hosts the 2019 Academy Awards and I am 100% on board.

I think this idea is incredible, and we all know it’s time for Li-Lo to make her comeback. In fairness her unofficial comeback happened earlier this year in Mykonos…
But outside of us all needing more Lindsay Lohan in our lives, this makes sense because Lindsay is incredibly qualified. She’s used to being on the stage, lest we forget her incredible performance in Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen.
She’s also won several awards, but not an Oscar and it’s unlikely she’s going to be nominated for one this year so she should totally host. Otherwise she probably won’t even attend the ceremony which would be disastrous for the ratings.

Did we mention that Lindsay Lohan was the youngest person to ever host the MTV Movie Awards back in 2004 when she was just 17? Our girl has been doing this for years, she’s a seasoned pro. It’s surprising she hasn’t been approached to host the Oscars already at this point!
If for someone who is at all involved in deciding who hosts the Oscars ends up reading this, please consider Lindsay Lohan.
