Want to find ways to fit more chocolate into your day? Now your breakfast can be a part of the experience with Lindt turning their chocolates into a spread.

First arriving on Australian shelves in March, Lindt has created two spreads that are sure to make their way onto our breakfast tables. From delectable cocoa spread to scrumptious hazelnut, my morning toast is about to get a whole lot more interesting.

Yes, we could all just eat straight truffles for breakfast. However, if you did that, your co-workers might give you a stare or two. Now, you can disguise your delicious habits by pretending it’s just regular ol’ toast, or maybe even spreading it thin enough to trick your mates that it’s just Vegemite.

Although their Lindt Chocolate Cafes have had the spreads for a few years, it’s now making its way to our shops. The hazelnut spread will be sold exclusively at Coles until May, so if you’re more of a fan of Woolworths, or you can’t wait for it to hit other retailers in May, you may have to make the switch!

In a comment to 7news, Lindt Master Chocolatier Thomas Schnetzler, expressed the anticipation of these spreads.

“Our Lindt Hazelnut Spread is made with 25% roasted hazelnuts which is more generous than many other spreads. This generosity adds to the incredible flavour when the hazelnuts are combined with the cocoa creating the perfect blend.”

Lindt’s new spreads are set to hit Coles shelves in the coming months. Their Hazelnut Spread will be arriving in March, while their Cocoa Spread will be released in May.
