Dominik Mersch Gallery will soon be exhibiting Locust Jones’ solo exhibition, Screenshots.
The exhibition is a direct reaction and interpretation to daily news stories. The pieces are compulsive, controversial, and an accurate reflection of the onslought of negative news we receive from around the world on a daily basis.
Screenshots includes commentary on issues such as the Germanwings incident, the happenings in Gaza, the Syrian Civil War, and the Bali Nine, amongst other topics.
Jones’ concern for current world political issues shines through in his drawings and ceramics.
Screenshots will be exhibiting at Dominik Mersch Gallery from Thursday June 4 – Saturday June 27.
