It’s no secret that Love Island Australia will be gracing our screens soon. Season four has been officially confirmed, the series was highlighted at Channel 9’s recent Upfront event, and pap pics have even leaked of former MAFS star Al Perkins filming the show in a Spanish villa.

However, it’s been highly speculated that the new season wouldn’t be dropping until early next year. Fortunately, for reality show fans, it’s been revealed that Love Island Australia will actually premiere next month.

The exciting news was announced when Love Island Australia dropped a new trailer for the upcoming season over the weekend.

“The hottest show returns to the hottest place on the planet 🔥 New #LoveIslandAU in sexy Spain, this October on @9now,” the official Instagram account posted alongside a clip showing host Sophie Monk dancing with Dancing with the Stars’ Julian Caillon.

While the clip doesn’t give much away about the Islander’s antics, it does reveal the location of next season, and an approximate air date.

Filming is currently underway for season four of Love Island Australia, and reality fans will spot a recognizable face in the villa. It’s been all but confirmed that MAFS fan favourite is one of the islanders looking for love on the show.

Daily Mail Australia papped Al surrounded by a bevvy of bikini-clad beauties in the show’s Spanish villa earlier this month, which you can view here. To add fuel to the fire, his normally-active Instagram account has been silent since August 23rd.

Love Island host Sophie Monk also told the audience at this year’s Upfronts, which is an event where Channel 9’s upcoming shows are revealed, that they’ve cast a “famous groom” for next year’s season.

“We have high-flying real estate agents, we have a soccer player, we have a model, a dancer and we have a famous groom,” she said.
