Love Island Australia’s Phoebe Han had some pretty scathing things to say about Jordan Dowsett and their relationship.

Love Island Australia’s Phoebe Han is not holding back when talking about Jordan Dowsett and their relationship. In a recent interview, Han revealed that Dowsett had pretty much led her on throughout their time together, and once outside the villa, she realised how ‘badly he treated’ her.

Speaking to So Dramatic! Han spoke about that shocking moment from the December 5th episode where Dowsett admitted that he did not see himself and Han continuing their relationship outside of the show.

Han revealed that she was completely blindsided by the situation – until then, she and Dowsett had been planning on going on dates in his hometown and even meeting each other’s families. So, Dowsett’s admission – to put it kindly – was a shock.

“That was the first time that I had heard all of that and I was completely shocked. I was blindsided and so disappointed because he knew how I felt,” she said.

“I was honestly there for a genuine connection,” she added. “We didn’t just have a sexual chemistry kind of connection. We had an emotional connection. I was so shocked. It came out of nowhere. Honestly, everyone was shocked.”

In retrospect, Han realised that she should have seen the red flags much earlier – especially since Dowsett’s behaviour was a big clue. “I am quite disappointed with how it ended up with Jordan. I don’t think he was there for the right reasons… Jordan never really reassured me or made me feel secure. He didn’t really care. He made me cry a couple of times.” she said.

Han also opened up about how shocked she was when she realised how Dowsett treated her versus his other potential matches in the villa. While he showered Claudia Bonifazio and Phoebe Spiller with attention, the same could not be said of his approach to Han. According to Han, when she tried to confront him about it, he brushed her off.

Outside of the villa, it became much easier for Han to spot the ill-treatment. “There were so many red flags from Jordan that I should have seen a lot earlier. But I was just invested. I built a connection in the first two weeks, but two weeks is crazy when you’re always with each other.” she said.

“I just realised my worth when I did start to recognise all of the red flags when I was able to talk to other people… [The break up] was mutual but it was more me deciding I deserved better.” she added.
