Former Love Island star Josh Moss will reportedly appear on the upcoming season of the dating reality show.

Josh previously appeared in season one of Love Island and came third alongside his now ex-girlfriend Amelia. The pair dated for four years after the show wrapped but broke up in June.

According to So Dramatic!, Josh will be returning to Love Island – but not as a contestant.

An insider told the publication that Josh “was in Mallorca to do interviews for Love Island“.

“Kinda like an Afterparty thing, but not live. Just for the web series,” they added.

Last year, former The Bachelor contestant Abbie Chatfield hosted the post-show segment and had Josh and Amelia on the show to talk about what it’s like being an Islander.

Josh has been appearing to drop hints over the past few weeks about his new Love Island gig. This week, the 29-year-old posted a photo of himself in Spain and captioned it, “I’ve seen quite a few articles and heard a ton of rumours about why I was off the grid in Europe for about seven weeks. Got a big announcement coming very soon.”

And, Josh isn’t the only Aussie reality star who headed to Spain for Love Island filming. It’s been all but confirmed that Al Perkins from the most recent season of MAFS will be entering the villa as an Islander.

Speaking at a Channel Nine event last month, Sophie claimed that a ‘famous groom’ would be joining the upcoming season of Love Island Australia and, well, with Al’s pictures circling about, it’s not hard to connect the dots.

“We have high-flying real estate agents, we have a soccer player, we have a model, a dancer and we have a famous groom,” she said. Furthermore, his normally-active Instagram account was silent for two months from August 23rd – hinting that he was in the villa and unable to use his phone.
