Callum Hole, a finalist for ‘Love Island’ Australia 2022, has revealed his post-series relationship status with Mads Wilcox.

Love Island Australia finalists Callum Hole and Mads Wilcox have provided an update on their relationship status. Speaking to So Dramatic! on December 21, the couple revealed that they are not officially together, but are more than just friends.

Hole, a 23-year-old, explained that they are taking things slow and seeing where their relationship goes.

“We’re just keeping it casual to see what happens,” Hole said. “We see each other very often but we’re not official or anything like that… We’re just going at our own pace.”

Hole and Wilcox, a 22-year-old, became a fan-favorite couple on the show due to their strong connection and apparent affection for each other.

However, their relationship was not without its challenges, as Hole had been previously involved with another contestant, Layla John.

Hole confirmed that he and John had decided to go their separate ways before Wilcox entered the villa as one of the final intruders.

“I got in contact with Layla when I came out of the villa. I basically just explained to her that I’d met Mads,” Hole said. “But I don’t think Layla was expecting me to have such a strong connection [with Mads] and stay until the end.”

Despite the complications with John, Hole made it clear that he is now focused on his relationship with Wilcox. “I’m still friends with Layla, but I’m only interested in Mads now,” he said.

It remains to be seen where things will go for Hole and Wilcox, but for now, it seems that they are happy taking things slow and seeing where their relationship leads.
