Former Love Island winners Mitch Hibberd and Tina Provis may have only just reignited their spark on TV, but Mitch has already been spotted getting cosy with another Islander outside the show.

This year’s season of Love Island was pre-recorded, which means filming wrapped a few months ago. Every couple that made it to the finals has already filmed a winning scene, and the public will vote on the winner.

If Tina and Mitch are to make it to the end and win the show on the public vote, their second crowning could be considerably awkward, considering that Mitch has been spotted out and about with former islander Layla John.

A source told So Dramatic! that they spotted Mitch and Layla out together in Melbourne and said that they looked very comfortable with one another.

“She was resting her head on his shoulders,” our insider recalled.

Love Island fans will likely be familiar with Mitch’s antics post-season last year. While he and Tina won the show and left as boyfriend and girlfriend, after a few months Mitch broke up with her and slept with fellow islander Emily a couple of days later. While in the villa Mitch was caught in a love triangle with Tina and Emily.

This season, Tina has been hesitant to take Mitch back after the hurt he caused her last time. However, on last night’s episode, she followed her heart and took Mitch back.

And, Tina and Mitch aren’t the only couple who appear to have hit rough territory outside of the Love Island villa. Newly dumped Islander Phoebe Han had some pretty scathing things to say about her former partner Jordan Dowsett and their relationship.

Phoebe told So Dramatic! that although she and Jordan attempted to date outside of the villa, she quickly realised that she deserved to be treated better.

“There were so many red flags from Jordan that I should have seen a lot earlier. But I was just invested. I built a connection in the first two weeks, but two weeks is crazy when you’re always with each other.” she said.

“I just realised my worth when I did start to recognise all of the red flags when I was able to talk to other people… [The break up] was mutual but it was more me deciding I deserved better.” she added.
