The all-dancing, all-entertaining and just a little bit naughty Lowdown Hokum Orchestra has revealed details of its Sydney Fringe Festival show for 2015.
That’s Showbiz features the orchestra and its Burlesque Revue in an extravagant performance that reels in storytelling, jazz and blues, and burlesque. Appearing onstage will be a five-strong cast of actors and dancers, plus a six-piece band.
The story focuses on jazz diva Dee Dee Delore (Nichaud Fitzgibbon) and her husband (Mark Cutler), who aim to revive Dee Dee’s career with a rowdy new show.
That’s Showbiz will play at the Seymour Centre from Tuesday September 8 – Saturday September 12 as part of Sydney Fringe Festival 2015.
