Tyler Richardson from Luci Brasi is the latest guest to contribute to Perth musician Dan Cribb’s yearlong punk rock tribute to The Simpsons, in which he records a punk version of one of the show’s classic tunes each month, and uploads it to Bandcamp.

The most recent installment in the excellently-named Worst Tribute Ever project is a short, sharp version of the ‘Scorpio’ theme song from the episode in which Homer goes to work for evil genius Hank Scorpio, owner of Globex Corporation.

The song can be listened to here, and if you like what you hear, make sure you check out the first three tracks, a medley of ‘Whacking Day’ and ‘Baby On Board’, a version of the classic bar-room romp ‘Flaming Moe’s’, and the medley Dr. Zaius/Chimpan-A to Chimpan-Z, from Troy McClure’s musical version of ‘Planet Of The Apes’.

From one of the greatest episodes… EVER.
