Luna Park in Sydney is getting one heck of a makeover this Halloween.

If getting the crap scared out of you is how you’d want to spend your night, then ‘Halloscream VII’ is just the ticket. For punters aged 14+, the theme park is opening up for spooky hijinx from October 25th through until November 1st.

Tickets include unlimited rides and are subject to availability. There are also going to be screenings of Spirited Away happening inside the Big Top, coming equipped with headphones to ‘drown out the screams’.

Yep.

Elsewhere throughout the park, there are going to be interactive mazes set up; the Japanese Museum of Yōkai, complete with ghosts, an outback pub overtaken by Aussie outlaws ready to kill and Ward 13, where you’ll get to meet the crazed Nurse Brenda.

Feeling safe and happy about the situation yet?

A ‘cult’ takes over Luna Park’s Mirror Maze, holding evil séances, and it is up to ticket holders to get to the bottom of a mystery of a missing girl.

Enter the Mystery Manor, home to Doctor Hoffmeister and his wife, or be led through the ‘gates of hell’ by a ghoulish trio, El Diablo, Moloch and Brimstone.

Tickets are going for $54.95, and are expected to fly.
