A Cumbrian schoolboy was brought back from a coma after smelling his favourite LYNX deodorant.

Kacper Krauze was submerged in freezing water for 25 minutes whilst paddling with friends in the River Eden, Cumbria. His lifeless body was rescued from the river by emergency services and paramedics had to restart his heart on the way to the hospital.

The thirteen-year-old spent three weeks in a coma fighting for his life after being starved of oxygen because of the incident. It wasn’t until he copped a whiff of his favourite Lynx deodorant that he woke up.

“It was a miracle,” his mother, Wioletta Krauze, shared. “We had tried everything to wake him up. A nurse had suggested I bring in some of his toiletries to wash him with.”

Wioletta explained that she had made many attempts to wake him from the coma, “we had played music, we had spent hours talking to him.”

“But in the end, it was the Lynx which did it. I just couldn’t believe it. It was an absolute miracle.”

Never in our wildest imaginations could we have ever predicted the healing power of LYNX Black. The subtle yet sensuous hints of watermelon ester, bergamot orange and frozen pear have literally saved a life.
