In news today that sounds absolutely too good to be true, McDonald’s has delivered a dream come true: a chocolate version of the iconic soft serve treat.

The chocolate soft serve hit social media in a big way when Big Brother alum Tilly Whitfeld took to TikTok to share her discovery.

As reported by news.com.au, the news site have confirmed that the fast food chain are currently trialling the new product at a handful of restaurants across select Australian states including NSW, Queensland and South Australia.

Whitfeld shared an official Maccas sign in her TikTok video which reads: “We are trialling new chocolate soft serve for a limited time only. Try one today.”

There’s no doubt that this new concoction from the Big Mac purveyors tastes bloody delicious, but if anyone can confirm that, it’s Whitfeld.

She instructed her followers to “go now before they’re goneskies”. And if she had to vote to keep it in or out, her vote is to definitely “please keep” it going.

Whitfeld also mentioned that she grabbed hers from a Maccas in Sydney’s Mosman.

Well, here’s hoping that the chocolate soft serve is a ginormous hit and makes its way right around Australia as soon as possible. In the words of Lizzie McGuire, “this is what dreams are made of”.

In the mean time, I guess we can all keep enjoying Maccas regular soft serve – which is also still an option at the restaurants which are serving the chocolate version.
