MAFS fan favourite Al Perkins has confirmed that he is appearing as a bomb on Love Island Australia, and has revealed what viewers can expect from him.
Al, who didn’t manage to find love with his on-screen wife Samantha Moitzi on Married at First Sight, has said that he has faith that he’ll find ‘the one’ on Love Island Australia.
“I do believe Love Island is the right show to find love. There have been successful couples that have come out in love in the past,” he said.
He added, “I’m most excited to test myself to see if I can fall in love with someone,” Al said.
Al said that he’s looking to find someone who he can fall in love with, and someone that he can bring home to his family.
“I’m excited to leave the Villa with a person and introduce them to my family.”
The 25-year-old said that he was very excited to appear on Love Island – which is pre-recorded ahead of time this year – and shared with viewers what they can expect from him.

“I’m just going to be my true self in Love Island. In Love Island everyone’s really enjoying themselves and making the most of a beautiful time in Spain with beautiful people sitting around a pool having fun and trying to form connections,” he said.
“The people that watched me before saw me fail once at love, hopefully, they’ll be rooting for me to find love the second time.”
“You can definitely expect a shoey this year, and it’s going to be interesting to see who else does it with me as well,” Al revealed.
The former carpenter also took to his Instagram to officially announce his debut on the popular dating show. “This divorcee is heading in to the Villa! Wonder how a Spanish shoey will taste? Don’t miss @loveislandau next week on [9Now],” he captioned an official Love Island photo of himself.
