New mum and former MAFS star Beck Zemek has shared her thoughts about the backlash Tammy Hembrow received for posting a photo wearing underwear and looking trim just 12 days after giving birth to her third child, Posy.

Shortly after Hembrow posted the revealing photo Australia actor and comedian Celeste Barber publicly condemned it.

“No disrespect, well done on your success but this is dangerous,” Barber wrote on a repost of the slim photo of Hembrow. “Women should NEVER feel as though they need to put on activewear and show off their bodies to prove a point, ESPECIALLY 12 days after having a baby. 12 DAYS!’

Hembrow bluntly responded to Barber by writing “I’ll wear whatever I want'” in an Instagram comment.

Fans backed up Hembrow, saying that Barber should refrain from judging other women’s bodies.

“How can it be body positivity if a mother of three is being told to cover up? It’s the complete opposite,” one follower wrote.

Now, Beck Zemek, who welcomed her daughter Imogen in May with partner Ben Michell, commented on the response Hembrow has received over the lingerie clad photo.

“I want every mum’s expectation to be about rest and to literally like, glorify yourself, you literally just pushed out a human,” she told PerthNow.

“I don’t understand why you’re so worried about this snap back and all the pressure that you put on yourself but when you see it, especially on social media, which is so fabricated … I think people need to just stop comparing themselves to things like that,” Zemek said in regards to Hembrow’s photo.

The reality star added, “Immy has been the best baby ever. She’s just so chilled. She came out chilled, she came out smiling and she’s just been smiling ever since.”
