Another day, another MAFS drama. In the latest development, Brent has slammed his on-screen wife Tamara for her harsh comments about his career that screened in last night’s episode.

Brent was based in Dubai and worked as a very successful entertainment entrepreneur prior to the pandemic. The emergence of COVID caused his business to come crashing down, and he returned to Australia where he currently works as a restaurant manager.

Throughout the current seasons of MAFS, Tamara has consistently belittled his job, and questioned whether he was “good enough for her”. However, last night she took her slander to an entirely new level.

“I’ve got a career to go home to, a dog and house. He doesn’t really have a career. He works in hospitality and he calls himself a fucking restaurant expert or some shit like that. I’m sorry, you wait tables,” Tamara said of Brent during an interview with a producer.

Now, Brent has bitten back, sharing how hurtful her comments were during an interview on Hit NSW Breakfast with Maz & Lake.

“That situation that you actually see on screen, that got me deep, that really annoyed me. Like that kind of disrespect for another human is not OK,” Brent said.

“I’m all about everyone’s job and what they do for a career, I just never shared [my goals] with her because she’s not the type of person who would understand them.

“I also welcome every hospitality worker to play with her drinks and food when they serve them to her.”

Tamara has experienced a frosty reception during her time on the show, largely due to her derogatory comments about Brent.

“Everyone’s feedback is really starting to rock her a little bit, but I guess it’s part of being held accountable for the certain things you do and say,” Brent said.

He added: “I assure you to keep watching because something is about to happen. So guys, be ready.”
