Controversial MAFS bride, Booka Nile has announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
Booka is a participant from season 8 of MAFS and was paired with groom Brett Helling on the show. While the quirky pair quickly began fan favourites at the beginning of the season, however, their relationship quickly soured and the couple split before final vows.
The reality star told her Instagram followers that she is expecting a baby boy, and while she didn’t disclose the identity of the father, she said that they “aren’t together” and will co-parent the child.
“Motherhood was not something I ever thought id experience. It just didn’t feel like it could or would ever happen for me. My circumstances felt like they’d never be right…and to be honest they’re still not ‘right’. I don’t think they’ll ever be ‘right’ but my baby boy does not really gaf about that haha. Against all odds he has made himself a little home inside my belly and is growing bigger and stronger every day,” she captioned a photo of herself holding up a small baby onesie.

The post continued, “His dad and I were very very shocked to find out that we’d made a little life by accident and that he had taken up residency in my uterus. But after giving it a lot of thought we realised we wanted to be his mum and dad, even though we aren’t together and have no plans to be. We’re working on becoming great friends and plan to co-parent together. Our only goal is that our son is loved and cared for by both of us and that he grows up knowing how loved he is by his mum and dad.
“Although he does not know it yet, I am overwhelmed with gratitude towards my baby boy for turning my life around this year. He gave the saddest, most defeated version of myself joy, happiness and hope again…I’m working hard every day now to become the best possible version of myself and I’m doing it for him. I’ll never be able to express how grateful I am to my son for being the ONLY one in the world who was able to pull me out of the darkness I was in. He is the miracle I didn’t know I needed.
Despite this not being what me or his father had planned, we are beyond happy and just counting down the days till we get to finally meet him.”
