Receipts have finally confirmed that the infamous MAFS ‘butt-dial’ did actually happen after fans have been left puzzled for weeks about the legitimacy of the interaction.

Towards the beginning of the current season of MAFS, Evelyn said she received a ‘butt-dial’ from her TV husband Rupert on a night out with some of the other grooms. In the call, Evelyn said that she heard both Dan and Rupert talking negatively about their wives.

At the time, Evelyn took Dan’s ‘wife’ Sandy aside and said she’d heard that Dan was showing photos of his exes and saying how attractive they were, and spoke badly about her.

Dan, and oddly enough, Harrison, have sworn black and blue that the ‘butt dial’ didn’t happen and suggested that Rupert just told Evelyn direct and used the call as a cover. However, receipts were dropped at last night’s Nova MAFS party which shows Rupert did actually pocket-dial Evelyn that night.

When Wippa of Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie asked Evelyn directly if she had any proof on her phone that the ‘butt dial’ actually happened, Ollie jumped in with proof.

“There’s a smoking gun. So, Rupert screenshotted me [this] with time stamps” Ollie told the hosts.

Fitzy then proceeded to read the text out loud, “You just prank-called me and I heard Hugo going off about Taylor saying he wanted a hot wife and she told him she was going to select leave,” he said.

“What I think actually happened is, I think 50% of the butt dial happened,” Ollie said.

Sandy added, “I think we need to focus on what was said that night [rather than the butt dial]”.

Both Dan and Sandy and Rupert and his TV wife Tayla exited the experiment shortly after information about the infamous ‘butt dial’ was shared.
