The Married at First Sight Australia drama continues as groom Cody Bromley claps back at his on-screen wife’s recent interview on the new digital series Dom’s Debrief.

Selina Chhaur was invited onto the first episode of co-star Domenica Calarco’s new 9now web series to spill on her “next big move” and dating life post-MAFS.

She also spilled some extra tea on her relationship with Bromley. “Do I ever want to be in the same room, breathing the same air as him ever again?” she said. “Probably not.”

Although Bromley claimed he hasn’t watched the video and is going off friends’ accounts of the interview, “because, like a good percentage of the cast, I’m done listening to Dom’s bullshit,” he did share some thoughts on being brought into drama repeatedly since the pair broke up in February.

“I did my best to stay clear from the drama and the bullshit because frankly I just don’t care anymore,” he said. “It’s upset mum, it’s upset my family.”

Bromley addressed Chhaur directly in his response, shared by Instagram gossip account MAFSgossip.

“I don’t care if you hate on me, you’ve made it very evident that you don’t want anything to do with me which is fine,” he said. “I understand things did not pan out well and I’m still regretful for the way things ended. But I don’t understand what you are trying to achieve anymore.”

Some fans were quick to defend Chhaur in the comments of the video, saying he was “gaslighting” and he was “playing the victim card,” while others vocally supported his account.

Bromley ended his hot and cold relationship with Chhaur just 24 hours after the reunion was filmed.

At the time, Chhaur told Yahoo Lifestyle that the break-up was “gut-wrenching” and “out of nowhere”.

“At home stays, I did find out that he only applied for the show because he lost the bet at the gym,” she told journalist Lachian Guertin.
