MAFS intruder Daniel Holmes has slammed Abbie Chatfield, calling her “that washed up chick from [The] Bachelor”.
The feud between Daniel and Abbie kicked off yesterday when the latter commented on a post on the official MAFS account that promoted Domenica’s new web series, Dom’s Debrief. The show sees the MAFS fan favourite contact her former cast-mates to find out what they’ve been up to since the show wrapped.
A few season 8 MAFS alums jumped in to make some rude comments, including one from Daniel who wrote, “As the old saying goes. ROFL”.
Jackson commented, “The number you have called has been disconnected. Please check the number and try again.” Carolina sarcastically said, “Your number is blocked hon oops, devo that I missed it. Chatting to you would be like a dream of mine.”
Abbie jumped into the comments section to defend Dom. “The jealousy from ex-contestants in these comments is so funny,” she wrote.
Unsurprisingly, Daniel bit back at Abbie’s comment. “zip it you dork,” he wrote. Abbie – who has 429k followers on Instagram compared to Daniel’s 119k – told Daniel, “I have literally no idea who you are lmao. To which Daniel replied, “@(null) omg really heheh”.
Daniel obviously didn’t take the criticism from Abbie well, as he took to his Instagram stories today to slam Abbie during a Q&A. A follower asked him, “what is the go with Abbie Chatfield drama?” He responded, “She was just some chick that commented on a MAFS post that had nothing to do with her.

“She’s that washed-up chick from bachelor or something and then just bit [sic] the formula for Call Her Daddy and made a podcast and she comes in freaking guns blazing on a MAFS post that she has nothing to do with. And, I’m like, if you’re coming at us, I’m going to throw heat straight back at you.”
Chatfield was thrust into the public light when she came runner-up on The Bachelor Australia in 2019. After filming the show, she managed to carve a very successful media career and went on to star in (and win) I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Outta Here Australia. She started her podcast It’s a Lot in March 2020, and moved into radio to host Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield in January of this year. In her latest media venture, she had a stint as a judge on The Masked Singer, which wrapped in August.
Daniel entered MAFS 2022 part way through the season as an intruder and didn’t make it to the final commitment ceremony.
