Dom may be one of the biggest stars to come out of MAFS 2022, but her paycheck for the new web series ‘Dom’s Debrief’ certainly doesn’t reflect that.

According to So Dramatic!, Dom actually wasn’t paid a cent to host the controversial series.

“Dom was not paid for series,” a source told the publication. “They weren’t offering any money to her.”

Another source said, “Channel Nine pitched it as a great opportunity that could potentially lead to more TV work within the network. They are of the belief that they made Domenica the big star she is, so they, therefore, don’t have to pay her.”

They added: “Channel Nine knew if Dom said no, that someone else would snap the opportunity up.”

Dom’s new series certainly hasn’t been without controversy. When the official MAFS account announced Dom’s Debrief – which is an online show where Dom contacts her former cast-mate to find out what they’ve been up to – her co-stars caused chaos in the comments section.

“The number you have called has been disconnected please check the number and try again,” Jackson wrote.

“Your number is blocked hon oops, devo that I missed it. Chatting to you would be like a dream of mine,” Carolina commented sarcastically.

Olivia penned; “But producers don’t favour anyone, right?”.

Even Former The Bachelor contestant and media personality Abbie Chatfield waded into the online fight, writing: “The jealousy from ex-contestants in these comments is so funny.”

Abbie’s comment seemed to annoy former MAFS villain Daniel Holmes, wrote replied to her with: “zip it you dork”. Abbie – who has 429k followers on Instagram compared to Daniel’s 119k – told Daniel, “I have literally no idea who you are lmao. To which Daniel replied, “@(null) omg really heheh”.

Episode one and Two of Dom’s Debrief is currently streaming on 9Now and features a chat with former contestant Selina Chaurr and Ella Ding about what they’ve been up to since MAFS wrapped.
