The time has come for the MAFS couples to make their choices about whether they’d like to stay with their partners. And, it appears as though Duncan has had enough of Alyssa, with reports revealing that he blindsides and dumps her at the final vows ceremony.

An ‘on-set spy’ told Daily Mail Australia that Duncan “brutally blindsides” the single mother by dumping her at the ceremony.

Alyssa is reportedly devastated after making the decision that she wanted to pursue a relationship with Duncan outside of the experiment.

“Alyssa just didn’t understand why she was strung along,” a source close to the bride told the publication.

They added, “‘Alyssa knew things were never going to work out with Duncan, as much as she wanted them to. They both live different lives.”

The publication reported that Alyssa and Duncan are currently barely on speaking terms, and have only exchanged a few texts since filming wrapped.

“They’re not even on talking terms at the moment,” a different source told the publication.

“They both agreed that it was for the best not to do any joint interviews and aren’t even pretending to be together.”

Duncan has been partnered with Alyssa on the current season of MAFS, and while they appeared to get off to a good start, their relationship has been showing cracks in recent episodes. They first began disagreeing at the couple’s retreat when Alyssa demanded that the cyber security salesman give her more attention and reassurance.

Since then, Alyssa and Duncan have been on shaky grounds and every thing came to a head on their home town date when they went out on Duncan’s boat in the Northern Beaches of Sydney. On the date, Alyssa repeatedly told him that he would never understand her pesperctive because she” has a child” and Duncan said that he didn’t think they have a good relationship.

The final vows episode with Duncan and Alyssa is set to air next week on Channel 9 and 9Now.
