MAFS star Ella Ding has explained why she was spotted hanging out with her on-screen ex Mitch Eynaud and has doubled down that she isn’t getting back together with him.
Ella and Mitch were paired together on this year’s season of MAFS, however, despite continuing their relationship after the show the pair eventually broke up, and things weren’t amicable.
Fast forward to this week, and a fan told So Dramatic! that she’d spotted Mitch and Ella strolling around on the Gold Coast together.
“Spotted: Ella and Mitch from MAFS walking around Surfers Paradise together about an hour ago,” a source said. “I walked past them and had to do a double take.” They added that the reality stars were “smiling and laughing”.
The insider continued: “He is an actual flog, but yes, it seems like they are back on… I wish I could have followed them for a scoop.”
“If I didn’t know who they were, I would have thought they were a couple. They both just looked happy and like they were having a good time.”
Now, Ella has cleared up speculation that she and Mitch are getting back together when a fan asked her directly on the Facebook page of her podcast, Sit With Us.

“Just a rumour I can confirm haha, Mitch and I caught up when I was in GC which was nice to have some closure and just have the chat as we never did I’ve always said I like to remain amicable with my past people I let in. I’ll be sharing on the poddy briefly about it all,” she told the fan.
Ella and Mitch originally broke up just weeks after filming wrapped on MAFS, when Mitch saw photos of Ella at the beach with their co-stars Brent and Domenica.
“The articles came out of Brent and I at the beach,” she said before adding, “Mitchell knew that I was at the beach with him and Domenica.”
“Dom was there, you can kind of see Dom’s body in half of a picture… It’s the vegemite phone case that’s how you know it’s her,” Ella laughed.
She added: “As soon as they [the pictures] came out he just showed a really ugly side all through text. I tried to call him he wouldn’t pick up my calls and then blocked me.”
