MAFS fan favourite Ella Ding is set to start on the British reality show Made in Chelsea as Miles Nazaire’s love interest.

But, while the episodes featuring our home-grown reality star are yet to air, Ella has already dished that the relationship didn’t work out with Miles.

“Made in Chelsea was pretty crazy. The show was intense. It was probably harder than MAFS. It’s such a short period of time. I didn’t find love…I should probably learn not to find love on TV,” she said at Channel Nine’s Upfronts earlier this month, as per Daily Mail Australia. The Upfronts is an event where Channel 9’s upcoming shows are revealed for the “ratings” season.

Ella told the audience that despite her relationship not working out with Miles, there are no hard feelings between the former couple.

“There’s never bad blood with any guys, you know. It’s always amicable. He’s great, but he just wasn’t for me.”

Ella announced that she would be joining the Made in Chelsea cast at the beginning of September. “Cats out of the bag! @e4chelsea Taking risks again for a connection… am I doomed ? What an experience so far it’s been in London with the MIC fam,” she wrote on Instagram.

After the news of her new reality stint was announced, some social media users accused Ella of faking her relationship with Miles and using it as a PR stunt – a sentiment she quickly shut down.

Ella addressed the claims on her podcast Sit With Us that she shares with former co-star Dom. “People were saying that this was a PR stunt,” she said.

“I can reassure you it is not a PR stunt,” she continued. “And I think that you guys will see that when it does come to air.”

Dom added, “No one would put themselves through what Ella did and putting everything on the line.”

“Not only your name, but your heart, your soul, everything… No one would do that for a PR stunt, unless they are literally that desperate, and there’s no desperation here.”
