MAFS’ intruder Evelyn has shared an unseen moment between her and her ‘husband’ Rupert that she’s “upset” didn’t air.
The 26-year-old told Yahoo Lifestyle Australia about an exchange between her and her partner.
“There was one part that I’m really upset they didn’t put in because it was hilarious,” she told the publication.
“It was me and Rupert in a field holding a chicken, and he was way more frightened of the chicken than I was. And we were screaming like little children and it was the most endearing, sweet, natural, authentic moment ever, but I guess it just didn’t make the cut.”
Evelyn continued, “That couch session where me and Rupert sat on the sofas together at the wedding and I was trying to talk to him, that is exactly what happened verbatim,” she laughs.
“Honestly, I wanted to melt in my chair at that point in time. I actually think they cut a lot of it out, so I think they let Rupert off the hook a little bit, but it was definitely as awkward as it seemed.
“I’m happy with what has been shown because I think the audience will eventually be pleasantly surprised with what happens next.”

Evelyn ‘married’ Rupert this week on the reality show in a wedding that could only be described as extremely awkward.
Both audience members and viewers experienced secondhand embarrassment as Rupert clammed up after seeing this bride and struggled to get any words out. While their initial meeting didn’t appear to go too smoothly, the couple have gotten a lot more comfortable around each other since the initial episode aired.
However, Evelyn threw a wild viewing party this weekend for her debut on the show and while four grooms were in attendance – her ‘husband’ Rupert Bugden was nowhere to be seen.
