Evelyn Ellis has answered whether she’d leave Sydney and move to Brisbane for her MAFS ‘husband’ Rupert.

Evelyn and Rupert have been paired together in the experiment and have gotten along fairly well throughout. However, last night’s episode saw Rupert tell Evelyn’s mother that he hadn’t even thought about moving to Sydney to be with the model.

Speaking about the interaction on Today Extra, Evelyn said Rupert’s nonchalant attitude annoyed her.

“If I could have kicked him underneath the table I would. I wish Rupert would think things through before opening his mouth,” she told the hosts.

When quizzed about whether she would pack up and leave her life in Sydney to join Rupert in Brisbane, Evelyn she would under the right circumstances.

“I would move a whole lot further for someone I care about and was in a relationship with,” she replied.

Evelyn has been one of the most polarizing cast members in this season of MAFS, and has reportedly been called a “producer’s puppet” by an unnamed crew member who shared the startling admission with So Dramatic! podcast host Megan Pustetto.
ICYMI, a few moons ago Rupert and Evelyn were chatting about events on the show in which Dan, who was paired with Sandy on the show, was overheard trash-talking his wife when fellow groom Rupert “butt-dialled” his wife Evelyn during a boy’s night out.
Evelyn confronted Dan about the call in a dinner party episode, and he repeatedly denied the events. The producer vouched for Dan, and confirmed that the “butt-dial” didn’t actually happen.

“Dan sh*t-talks Sandy to some of the guys on a boozy night out off-camera. We find out via one of the intruder grooms Rupert,” the producer told the podcast.

They continued, “Alex and Molly [the head producers of MAFS] orchestrate a fake ‘butt-dial’ situation where one of the brides Evelyn overhears the conversation at the bar.

“Evelyn agreed because she was essentially a producer’s puppet, happy to do whatever they needed her to do in return for favourable airtime.”
