Nasser Sultan, the controversial former Married at First Sight star, has reportedly been kicked out of Australian Fashion Week after he was accused of gatecrashing the event and allegedly caught pretending to be a journalist.

Nasser, who appeared in season five of MAFS, was reportedly seen at the event without a ticket and was spotted filming interviews with guests, before trying to head into the St. Agni show.

A source told Daily Mail Australia, “Nasser was posing as a journo, asking the silliest questions. It was clear he was out of his depth. But it was quite a laugh until security got wind of it.”

“Security told him that they remembered him from last year and that he was on watch. They wanted him to stay clear of shows he wasn’t invited to because brands clearly didn’t want him there.”

According to the insider, Nasser was stopped from entering by security and asked to leave the premise.

It’s not the first time the MAFS alum has been barred from entering an event uninvited. He was reportedly turned away when he tried to enter the ARIAs last year.

According to Yahoo Lifestyle, security checked the list of names of people who were invited, and Nasser’s wasn’t on them. Shortly after his snub, the reality star was seen making angry calls on his phone nearby.

“Nasser thought he was there as one of the big celebrity guests, had spent weeks planning his outfit and thought he’d be walking the carpet and interviewing all the big names inside. He got a reality check when he arrived and found out he was stuck behind a barrier,” a source told the publication.

However, despite the humiliation, Nasser manage to later sneak into the event and spent the evening avoiding security. The publication reported that he received media accreditation for the event, which means he was meant to stand in a small area with other journalists off the red carpet.

Once inside, Nasser shared a story on his Instagram. “I want to toast to everybody that supports me and has been with me for the last four years. I’m at The ARIAs, which is one of the biggest events, music events of the year, and I’m honored to be invited. Thank you very much. Nasser, Australia’s favorite celebrity,” he said to the camera.
