The new MAFS intruder Evelyn Ellis held a wild viewing party last night and while four grooms were in attendance – her ‘husband’ Rupert Bugden was nowhere to be seen.

Evelyn ‘married’ Rupert on last night’s episode of the reality show in a wedding that could only be described as extremely awkward.

Both audience members and viewers experienced secondhand embarrassment as Rupert clammed up after seeing this bride and struggled to get any words out. While their initial meeting didn’t appear to go too smoothly, it seems as though this has translated to the outside world as Eveleyn was spotted partying with four of the other grooms, but Rupert wasn’t there.

Evelyn threw a viewing party at The Mayflower in Sydney to watch her debut on the show. Harrison, Josh, Duncan and fellow intruder Hugo were all in attendance and were papped by the Daily Mail. In the set-up photos, Evelyn and the men can be seen posing and smiling, and the new bride is pictured exiting the menu with a huge bouquet of flowers. You can check out the pics over at Daily Mail Australia here.

In one of the photos, Evelyn can be seen swigging tequila and then pouring champagne into Hugo and Duncan’s mouths. In another, the former-big brother contestant can be seen wiping cake over Harrison’s mouth with the paparazzi snap away.

This year’s season of MAFS has certainly not been without scandal. In Sunday night’s commitment ceremony, the rules were changed and two couples were allowed to leave the experiment despite their partner’s writing ‘stay’.

Melissa and Josh also left the experiment, even though Melissa wrote stay.

After Josh told experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla that Melissa had questioned his manhood and “controlled” him by attempting to restrict his access to TV and his mobile phone, they allowed him the option to leave.

Caitlin and Shannon also left MAFS on Sunday night’s episode. Caitlin suffered cruel taunts and remarks from her partner Shannon Adams while on the show, and even after admitting he was a “monster”, he wrote ‘stay’ on his slip, which would normally have meant the couple has to continue on for another week.

However, relationship expert John Aiken made the decision to allow Caitlin to decide whether she’d like to stay or not, despite Shannon’s answer, and she chose to leave.
