The day has finally come that the MAFS cast have their Instagram accounts back – and Jack, Al and Brent have jumped on an IG Live to answer a few burning questions, including whether Jack is actually dating Dom and if Brent is dating Ella.
The first part of the IG Live saw Brent and Al in the same room while talking to the camera on Brent’s account. Dom also went live at the same time on her own account but started with a makeup tutorial for her followers.
Shortly after Al and Brent began their Live, they invited Jack into the chat, and the three participants started to answer random questions from followers. Jack was directly asked whether he is dating his on-screen wife, Dom.
“Me and Dom are not currently together but she is blessing of a human and my best mate,” Jack replied, and collectively broke the hearts of millions of Australians.
Brent was also asked if he was dating Ella, however, his answer was much smugger than Jack’s.
“Next question,” he replied quickly while blushing. He then unconvincingly added, “No we’re not. Is it getting awfully hot in here or…”
Elsewhere in the Live, Ella popped up in the comments section to say hello. Brent quickly responded to her comment, saying “Ella, your mum promised me today that she’d make the lobster linguine and I think that’s worth the plane ride over, so I’m ready.” Brent went on to continuously mention what a great person Ella is throughout the chat.

Brent also took to his grid to post a very cute photo of himself and Ella sitting next to each other. “These 2 humans give me more life than you can imagine. What a wild little trip we had in Melbourne and grateful for the memories. Not as grateful for the hangovers though,” he captioned the slide. Co-star Al is featured in the second slide.
Later in the chat, Al was asked about rumours that have been circulating about him dating co-star Selina. However, Al quickly shut them down.
“No, we’re just friends. I love Selina so much but we’re just really good friends,” he replied, before adding, “I’m too busy doing shoe-ies”.
