MAFS star Jackson Lonie recently talked about how much his makeover cost him – and looking good doesn’t cheap, we guess.

Married At First Sight star Jackson Lonie and his makeover have been the talk of the town for some time – but a recent chat has revealed that, well, looking good does not come cheap.

For those who don’t know, Lonie got veneers and Invisalign among a slew of other dental work to improve his smile… and it cost him a pretty penny.

Speaking to 2Day FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin, Lonie revealed that the treatments had set him back by more than $10k, at the very least. Since he had ‘a fair bit done,’ the final amount was close to the ‘high thousands’. Dave Hughes pressed him for a number, asking: “Almost $10,000, is that fair to say?

“It’s north of that,” Jackson revealed. “It’s an expensive smile.”

In a chat with Daily Mail Australia in June, Lonie revealed that his veneers had cost him $24,000. It’s unclear whether he’s had more work done since then, which would mean the new number adds to the treatments he’s already undergone. Phew!

On the bright side, though, his confidence has admittedly been through the roof since then.

“Getting veneers, I’ve just had so much more confidence. [My] shoulders are back a lot more [straight], and I’ve got a bit of swagger in my step,” Lonie told 2Day FM

In June, the star admitted that he’d always been ‘insecure’ about his teeth, so getting dental work seemed like the next logical step. “I’ve always kind of wanted to get my teeth done. I’ve always been a little bit insecure about my front overlap,” he told Daily Mail Australia.
