MAFS star Jessika Power has opened up about why she won’t be appearing on The Challenge Australia, despite heavy speculation.

It’s been rumoured for weeks that Power would be one of the celebrities appearing on the first season of The Challenge Australia, which begins filming this week.

Earlier this week, the Daily Mail reported that Power decided to pull out of the show. However, the OnlyFans creator has slammed the article and revealed that she was actually cut from the final cast.

“I had my contract signed, bags packed, everything ready and received a message from my manager stating that the American executives had made a creative decision to not include me on the show despite believing I am ‘good talent’. [sic].” Jessika wrote in one IG story and accompanied the caption with a photo of the Daily Mail article.

In subsequent stories she continued, “I have no idea how Daily Mail believes this is an “exclusive” because it wouldn’t come from any source close to me and anyone close to me knows that I was excited to be chosen to do the show and it was only a day before I was having Skype interviews with the casting director and speaking about opening outfits and filming location and leave dates.”

Power explained that she was completely ready to head off for filming of The Challenge, when producers pulled the plug.

“I’d completed my medical, background check and had my leave date for the show,” she wrote on social media.

“Everything had came back clear and everyone was happy but sometimes in TV these “creative decisions” happen and that’s okay because it’s always an honor to even be considered let alone film a new television show. [sic]”

“I was also contacted for comment before this article was written… but at 1:15am in the morning,” she said of the Daily Mail article.

Power added: “Anyone that knows me knows I don’t hold back and I give the whole truth in things. Don’t ever write exclusive next to my name again without having actual facts from me. Idiots.”

Just days ago, the same publication reported that both Power and fellow MAFS alum Cyrell Paule were set to star on the new reality show. Power and Paule had a stream of drama throughout their season of Married at First Sight, which peaked when Paule threw a glass of wine in Power’s face at a MAFS dinner party.
