MAFS relationship expert John Aiken has listed his top three favourite participants from this year’s season of MAFS, and Harrison surprisingly made the cut.
John told 9Now that his three favourites were Jesse, Harrison and Evelyn, and notably, none of the trio ended the show in a successful relationship.
“I enjoyed Jesse because he was layered. He did things he regretted early on and then he started to become a different guy later on. He and I both have a love for heavy metal, so we bonded over that. He was someone who had a layered sort of experience in the experiment and you saw different sides of him,” he told the network.
Next up, John Aiken named Harrison as one of his faves, but he admitted it was mainly because the reality star’s behaviour towards Bronte gave him a chance to let loose of the couch.
“I also loved Harrison and what he brought to the experiment. You could go hard at him and he could go hard at you. You had to be on your A game to hold him accountable and I found that exciting. He and I had a lot of tense exchanges which I really enjoyed.,” he said.
Last up was Evelyn, who, like John, got stuck into Harrison about his “gaslighting” behaviour throughout the season.
“I also loved watching Evelyn call people out. She was outspoken but she had a wonderful way of talking about how she felt and making people accountable for their poor behaviour,” he said.

Jesse and Harrison both split with their partners, Claire and Bronte, before the final vows ceremony. While Evelyn made it to the end of the show with her ‘husband’ Rupert, the pair amicably agreed to part ways in their final scenes, citing their lack of similarities as the reason they didn’t want to continue their relationship.
