This year’s MAFS has about just as much drama behind the scenes, as it does on the season itself. In one of the latest scandals, it was reported that groom Josh has been hooking up with bride Lyndall, who he isn’t paired with on the show.

Earlier this week, Daily Mail Australia reported that Perth bride Lyndall hooked up with Sydney-based Josh – who is ‘married’ to sex-crazy Melissa – after the show finished filming.

The publication reported that Josh travelled to Perth from January 26th – 29th, 2023 to spend time romantically with Lyndall. However, is it believed infidelity hasn’t occurred as Lyndall and her partner Cameron allegedly split before the season ended, and the same with Josh and Melissa.

“Josh and Lyndall were secretly hooking up for weeks,” a cast member told Daily Mail.

The insider said that the pair made out on December 17th when a group of MAFS participants went to party at Ivy Pool in Sydney the day after they filmed the finale.

“Things started when he told her he really liked her and felt like kissing her, and she said, ‘Well, go on then,’” the source said.

After [the kiss], they would spend hours on the phone with each other every night and just got to really know each other that way,’ the insider added.

Now that Josh and Lyndall’s tryst is out, So Dramatic! has reported that all of the other cast members knew about it, except for his TV wife Melissa.

“Melissa didn’t find out about it until it hit the press,” a source told the publication. “Everyone else in the cast knew except her. They didn’t know how she would react and didn’t want to upset her.”

The insider added that Melissa’s co-star Sandy tried to warn her about Josh, without outrightly telling her what he had done.

“Sandy said to Melissa that ‘Josh is a dog’ but she had no idea what she meant. Now she does,” they said.
