Liam Cooper and Samuel Levi have announced the end of their relationship.
Liam appeared on the 2021 season of Married at First Sight Australia, while San appeared on the New Zealand version in 2019.
The near-identical statements from the former couple hinted at a potential reunion “when the time is right”, but noted there was work to be done.
“This is going to be [a] shock for many, as much as it has been for ourselves, and a sad day. But myself and Samuel would like to just let you all know we will be taking a break on our relationship and not moving forward as a “couple” for now as we navigate a few things moving forward with ourselves,” Liam’s statement said.
“We entered this relationship very publicly and in the public eye, which is why we also wanted to be transparent with you [all].
“We are best friends, soul mates, and will remain doing life together, and everything else, including living together. But we are using this time to find each other again, and who knows what the future will hold.
“We both love one another immensely, and that will never change, and [we] hope we can assess this when the time is right, but at the moment, that time is not right now in a relationship capacity.

“Please respect our privacy as we navigate through this. We are both happy and are doing this together.”
The former couple announced their relationship in 2021.
“Life works in mysterious ways and this guy came into my life when I least expected it,” Liam said at the time.
“I know I don’t have to explain my life or what I do, but I am very open and honest and wanted to let you all know.
“Samuel has shown me what support looks like, what trust looks like and much more. I am scared, I am nervous, but most of all I am happy.”
