MAFS star Melissa Sheppard has revealed that two men followed her to work and harassed her, following her “sex-obsessed” portrayal on the show.

“Two men have been to my place of work to find me,” Melissa told Mamamia. She continued, “One man asked my colleagues if the ‘freak in the sheets’ was in. When she said ‘no’ and then asked what he wanted, he just said, ‘Well if she’s after a good f**k, I can give it to her.’ My colleague asked him to leave and I reported it.”

Melissa said that her portrayal on the show has made her out to look sex-crazed, when it reality she only wanted to get intimate with someone she was in a secure relationship with.

“It shocked me because no one has ever said anything like that towards me before. I know they were going from what they saw on MAFS, but that’s not who I am. I wanted sex with my husband, yes, but not with multiple random men. It was scary.”

“The MAFS team knew who I was and what I wanted in a relationship, and also that I didn’t want to be anyone but myself. Yes I am confident, and I am a huge advocate for women and men owning their sexuality.

“But I am also many other things: I am a daughter, a mother, and a friend. And my relationship with Josh was so much more than what the audience sees.”

However, a source told Yahoo Lifestyle Australia that Melissa is interested in getting into OnlyFans after her season of MAFS finishes airing. Despite being “devastated” by her on-screen portrayal, the insider believes that Melissa could potentially make a substantial income by joining the platform.

“A lot of them are talking about the idea of her joining OnlyFans and how much money she could make,” the source told Yahoo Lifestyle Australia. “She wouldn’t even have to do anything explicit. People can make a killing from lingerie and bikini pics.

“Right now Melissa just wants the show to hurry up and end so she can return to normal life, but down the track, she might try to profit from it once the dust has settled.”
