MAFS star Al Perkins is currently filming the upcoming season of Love Island Australia in Spain, and, he was reportedly paid a pretty penny to be there.
According to Daily Mail Australia, Al secured an appearance fee and will receive extra money for every week he remains on the show.
“Al was able to secure a one-off four-figure sum to add that star-power to the show,” a source told the publication.

“He was desperate to get on and said yes the second he was offered. It’s a dream come true for him, he would be ecstatic [that he got on the show]”.
The insider told Daily Mail that on top of the lump sum, Al will be paid a weekly fee of $500 for every week he remains on Love Island.
Al appeared in season nine of MAFS, which aired this year and was a rating bonanza. The popular reality show had the most viewers of its slot for every single episode.

He was paired with bride Samantha Moitzi, and the two had a tumultuous relationship throughout the season. They eventually parted ways at the final commitment ceremony.
Yesterday, Samantha took to her Instagram stories to wish Al luck on Love Island and resonated with commenters who considered him a great fit for the show.
“It’s definitely a show a little more up his ally, he always said he would want to go on it, I’m not surprised,” she said.
“I wish him the best and I hope he finds love in the villa but to be honest I reckon he’ll just love being with the boys, getting a tan and playing pranks on people in the villa.”
