Sam Moitzi, who took part in this year’s season of MAFS, has joined personalized video platform Cameo in the hope of making an extra buck.

Despite not being one of the many polarising cast members on the latest season of Married at First Sight, Sam was initially charging a whopping $47.99 for a short personalised video on Cameo, however, she has since dropped her price to $30.

Cameo is a website where customers can request videos from reality stars and celebrities for a small price. These videos are typically sent as birthday and/or congratulatory gifts and range from 30 seconds to three minutes in length.

Social media users are baffled by the expensive price that Sam is charging for a short video. “That’s basically $50, that’s insane. Who would pay that much for a 1 min video from a pretty boring side character,” one wrote on Reddit. Another joked, “Pay her to do a shoey.”

Sam is the first reality star from her season of MAFS to join the platform, however, there are a number of largely unrecognizable participants from previous seasons, including Andrew Jonesy, Dean Wells, Dino Hira, Nasser Sultan, Mike Gunner and Melissa Walsh.

While Sam has joined Cameo, she hasn’t yet made the crossover to content-sharing platform OnlyFans, like many of the participants on her season. However, she recently revealed that she is considering it. Earlier this month, the reality star asked her Instagram followers whether they were interested in viewing her content on OnlyFans.

“I have thought about making an OnlyFans for an exclusive access into my private life,” she said in response to a question about whether she has an account.

She continued, “Instagram can be so curated sometimes and you have to be relatively censored.”

“Comment on my most recent photo or dm me if you’d be interested. Otherwise, I won’t bother with the content.”
