MAFS star Dan Webb, who is due to stand trial for fraud charges following a cold-call scam syndicate, has asked permission to leave Australia.
Their relationship hit a speed bump when a clip aired showing Jessika saying she found her fellow contestant Nic attractive. Jessika and Dan worked through their problems and got back together.
During a later interview, Talking Married, Jessika was asked outright if she hit on Nic, and she confirmed she did. Dan looked angry at the answer, and the couple broke up as soon as the cameras stopped filming.

The scam allegedly involved a call room, which was referred to as a “boiler room” by police, in which salespeople cold-called Australians and “offered products that didn’t exist” as per News.com.au. The companies linked to the product would then disappear, leaving the victims out of pocket.
In the hearing, prosecutors said that the scam made about $24 million from hundreds of victims in 2013 and 2014. Dan was charged with dishonestly gaining benefits to a value of over $30,000.
Under Dan’s current bail conditions, he cannot apply for a new passport. However, he has today requested that the court waive the restriction so that he can travel overseas.
District Court Judge Paul Smith said that Dan’s itinerary would need approval by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). “I’m inclined to make the draft order and place it on the file,” he said in court.
Dan’s case will reportedly return to court at a later date.
