MAFS star Lyndall has slammed rumours that she and Hugo hooked up after they found out that their ‘exes’ Tayla and Cam had been flirting.

Earlier this month So Dramatic! reported that Lyndall and Hugo had an affair that “started during filming”. However, Lyndall has slammed the claims saying that she’s never been romantically involved with the MAFS groom.

“There are some people in the cast that probably believe you can’t be friends if you’re of different genders, but nothing untoward has ever happened between Hugo and I,” she told Yahoo Lifestyle Australia.

She added: “When we saw the rumours come out, I can’t remember who called who but we had a really funny conversation on the phone where we were both like, ‘Oh well I’m not going to correct anyone, that’s hilarious’. I think people are going to believe whatever they want to believe anyway, that’s been my experience with all of these rumours. It doesn’t really matter what I say, but that’s about all it is.”

“Hugo and I still talk, we send each other memes and funny tweets that we see about our episodes and check in on each other when we’ve had a hard time. He’s a great guy, but there’s absolutely nothing there.”

ICYMI, Tayla and Cam, who are Hugo and Lyndall’s respective ex’s, have been flirting since filming wrapped.

Earlier this month it was leaked to the media that Cam FaceTimed Tayla while out in a nightclub and showed his penis in the video and Tayla confirmed the exchange did happen in an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O show.

When asked for more details about what actually happened, the MAFS bride confirmed that she actually asked Cam to “get it out” during the phone call.

“He was really drunk and I was drinking with all of my friends as well, and I’m pretty sure it just happened,” Tayla explained.

She added: “he said ‘do you want me to get it out?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, I dare you to.’ And I didn’t think that he actually would.”
