There’s a shocking connection between this one of this year’s MAFS cast members and newly-Oscar winning Will Smith.

The connection comes in the form of groom Brent Vitiello, who met Will Smith while working in Dubai.

The 33-year-old venue manager has been constantly belittled and spoken down upon by TV wife Tamara Djordjevic — an operations manager — after discovering he worked in the hospitality industry.

The pair didn’t exactly start off strong when Tamara made a comment during their wedding that retail and hospitality workers were “unambitious”.

Since then, she has continued to belittle hubby Brent’s career in the hospitality industry.

Recently, Tamara slammed Brent for not being a “restaurant expert”, claiming instead that he just “wait[s] tables”.

Yesterday, a photo of the MAFS star and Will Smith resurfaced on Twitter (and with all the recent hype going around with Smith’s Oscar and that incident at the Academy Awards, the run in between the two is suddenly much more impressive), and fans were sent into overdrive.

An insider confirmed with So Dramatic! that Brent met the Academy Award winner and four-time Grammy winner at the premiere of The Suicide Squad in Dubai in 2016.

Smith was in Dubai and participated in several promotional events to promote the DC superhero film.

Brent was based in Dubai, where he worked as an entrepreneur in the hospitality industry. When COVID-19 affected his business, he made the decision to return to Australia, where he currently works as a restaurant manager.

Tamara piled on even more insults to Brent’s job during their last date.

“I’ve got a career to go home to, a dog and a house. He doesn’t really have a career. He works in hospitality and he calls himself a fucking restaurant expert or some shit like that.

“I’m sorry, you wait tables.”
