Unconventional self-help guru Mark Manson is clearly a hot ticket in Australia, with his upcoming Everything Is F*cked tour being expanded with a show in Brisbane.
Last month, it was revealed that Mark Manson, the bestselling author of The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*ck, is coming to Australia.
OG blogger turned bestselling author, Mark Manson offers self-help for people who hate self-help. Unsurprisingly, his no-BS brand of life advice and cultural commentary has struck a chord on a global scale.
Now, his upcoming trip to Australia has been expanded, with an extra show in Brisbane on July 18th being added due to overwhelming demand.
In a recent interview with The Daily Stoic, Manson explained; “The world has always been fucked, it’s just the nature of our problems that has shifted.”
“There’s a bit of a paradox of progress in that, materially, the world is the best it’s ever been. Yet, we are seeing a consistent pattern of crises of meaning and mental health issues arise in the more affluent and modern parts of the world.
“So, yes, the world has had way worse problems in the past than it does today,” he continued. “But for whatever reason, our problems today seem to be more psychological in nature than they were in the past.
“We’re physically more comfortable and safer, but mentally and emotionally we are struggling to find hope and meaning in a way that previous generations didn’t seem to.”
