The Married at First Sight star, Martha Kalifatidis, has recently come under fire for her use of the N-word. Now she comes out to apologize.
Martha Kalifatidis has come under fire recently for singing along a little too close to a Nicki Minaj song. The Married at First Sight star’s Instagram story was a video of her singing along to Nicki Minaj’s song ‘Only’ in which she said the N-word twice.
The lyrics in question were “F**k with them real n****s who don’t tell n****s what they up to.”
Kalifatidis posted the IG story on March 25th, and the short video showed her using the derogatory term twice. Fans were quick to share their dismay at her insensitive post that was shared with her 637,000 followers.
“Bestie we all saw that story of you saying the n-word,” one user commented on a grid post.
Another added, “It ain’t cute saying the n-word sis”.
Martha Kalifatidis, whose parents are Rober Taylor and Barbara Taylor, and is of Australian-Greek descent, issued this apology on her Instagram:
