Reality TV couple Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli, who found love on the hit show Married at First Sight, have welcomed their first child into the world.
The couple announced the news on Instagram with a sweet snapshot of their newborn son, Lucius Brunelli, asleep in a hospital cot, surrounded by beautiful white roses.
Martha gushed in the caption, “Lucius Brunelli. He’s here, he’s perfect,” revealing the name of their newborn.
Michael quickly cleared up any confusion around the pronunciation of their son’s first name. “LOO-SHUS” if you’re wondering 😅💙,” he wrote in the comments section.

And, it’s clear that Michael and Martha’s pals are over the moon for the happy couple, with congratulatory messages pouring in from the likes of Abbie Chatfield, Jackie O, Sophie Monk, Jessica Origliasso from The Veronicas, and MAFS star Domenica Calarco.
“Yay!!!! Congrats beautiful people, bet you’re on cloud 9. He’s beautiful and I love the name ❤️❤️,” radio host Jackie O wrote.
“Congratulations you two!!! He’s absolutely divine ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Domenica commented.
Throughout her pregnancy, Martha was very open about her struggle with hyperemesis gravidarum, which is essentially very severe morning sickness and involves symptoms like chronic nausea, vomiting, dizziness and electrolyte disturbance.
Then, earlier this month, she revealed her baby’s gender in the most Martha-esque way possible, with a diamond ring.
Martha and her fiance Michael Brunelli finally revealed the gender of their child in a sweet video they posted to Instagram yesterday. In the video, Martha and Michael can be seen visiting a doctor’s office with their family and looking at sonograms together. Michael later presents Martha with a jewelry box and when she opens it there is a diamond ring with blue stones inside, indicating that she and her partner are having a boy.
At the time, Martha captioned the video, “Oh, boy do we have news”. Meanwhile, Michael shared a photo of Martha’s pregnant belly on Instagram and wrote: “Heeeeeeeeeeeeeee will be here soon!”.
