McDonalds has denied a woman’s claims that an employee assaulted her at their Adelaide venue.

On October 9th, 18-year old Mia Miller from Adelaide visited Maccas and was at the centre of a viral video when she allegedly punched a worker in the head.

Miller has suggested the fight sparked when an employee grabbed her. However, McDonalds has denied this claim.

The incident, which was filmed, shows Miller allegedly throwing her drink at employees and spitting at them.

Miller was quick to apologise after the incident.

“That’s not me. I’m not that type of person and I don’t do that type of stuff,” said Miller. “I want everyone to know I genuinely am really sorry.”

Despite her aggravation, Miller affirmed her stance that the whole issue could’ve been avoided, had they provided her with water.

“They could’ve just gave me the cup of free water and none of this would’ve happened, but I should’ve just accepted it and walked off… I’m disgusted by my behaviour… That’s not ladylike at all. It’s feral.”

“It’s scary. I’m worried I might end up getting locked up… I don’t think I’m fit for jail.”

Miller will face the Adelaide Magistrates Court on November 24th.

McDonalds Australia spokesperson reiterated that employees followed the emergency response procedures.

“Anti-social behaviour is not tolerated in our restaurants and we expect our people to be treated with respect at all times,” they said. “We will always do our best for our customers, but we won’t accept abuse, intimidation, threats or violence towards our employees.”

The 18-year old has been charged with disorderly behaviour, two counts of aggravated assault of a shop worker and committing a prohibited act with human biological material.
