Megadeth have announced they will return to Australian stages this October, soon after the release of their forthcoming 15th album.
This albumwill be the band’s first with their new lineup, featuring Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler and Brazilian guitarist Kiko Loureiro. Alongside Slayer, Anthrax and Metallica, Megadeth are widely regarded as one of the founding fathers of metal.
Having sold over 50 million records worldwide, earning platinum certification in the US for five albums and receiving eleven Grammy nominations,they are certified thrash metal legends.
Joining Megadeth will be Finnish group, Children Of Bodom, also preparing to release a new album in October.
Megadeth will take over Hordern Pavilion on Sunday October 18. Tickets go on sale Friday August 21 through Ticketek.
