Melbourne is playing host to an all-you-can-eat Maximum Chips festival

Eat all the hot chips you can, including unlimited sauce and a welcome drink, at the new Melbourne Food & Wine Festival aptly named Maximum Chips.

Ever find yourself a bit sad at the pathetic serving of chips you’ve paid for? No need to worry about the shortage of chips on your plate at this event, as Maximum Chips is set to squash your cravings of all things salty and potato-y.

Happening on March 20th, Maximum Chips is sure to satisfy even the grumbliest of tummies with plain or smothered, shoestring or wedge, curly or waffle cut, and everything in between. On top of offering every hot chip available under the sun, each attendee will also receive a free welcome drink with their entry.

You won’t even find yourself worried about a lack of sauce – the festival will additionally have a smorgasbord of endless toppings, sauces, and condiments. Imagine your dream plate of chips, and you can surely achieve it at this festival.

On top of all the salty and savoury goodness, to-be-announced entertainment will be afoot to ensure that your mind will be as easily pleased as your mouth is sure to be. Held in Queen Victoria Market’s ‘X’ Shed, it’ll cost you $35 per person to devour as many hot chips as you can set your hands on.
