Mira Moon, the boutique sibling of the Mira Hotel chain in Hong Kong, recently provided an experience that was nothing short of magical. Celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and my birthday, we were greeted with a room that felt like a personalised sanctuary. Imagine stepping into a space filled with flowers, pictures from our wedding, heartfelt handwritten notes, champagne, fresh fruits, and desserts – it felt like a fairy tale.
The surprises continued with a birthday transformation featuring balloons and cake. The room’s décor struck a delightful balance between quirky and sophisticated, perfectly embodying the blend of East and West.
The functional and tasteful breakfast, including a choice of dishes and a much-appreciated freshly squeezed orange juice machine, added a delightful start to our days.
The hotel’s location is a gem in itself, nestled conveniently for easy access to shopping, dining, and the MTR, ensuring every part of Hong Kong was within reach. Our room, oversized and exquisitely furnished, boasted stunning views of Victoria Harbour. Watching the fireworks from our room provided a spectacle better than any we could have had at the harbour itself.

Another standout feature was the bathroom, with its elegant bath, offering a luxurious sanctuary for relaxation. The hotel’s commitment to exceptional service was evident in every interaction, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay.

The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a day of city exploration or to kickstart a night out in Hong Kong.
